Human occupation in this region dates back 1.8 million years and has continued up to the present day. Several scenes reconstruct the environment and human activities during the Paleolithic, Epipaleolithic, and Neolithic periods, faithfully based on scientific evidence. This journey through time highlights both the archaeological material culture and the fauna and flora that ensured the subsistence and long-term survival of human groups in the arid environment of central Syria.
